Abstract expressionism in all mediums and formats has always fascinated me. Looking into the depths of colour, shape, and texture – identifying and being absorbed with the mood and emotion being conveyed.
Originally inspired by Yves Klein, Hans Hofman, Robert Motherwell, and Pierre Soulages. More recently the strength of work by Judit Reigl, Sonia Gechtoff and Deborah Remington, has led to stronger, bolder, and larger format works.
Originally trained as an engineer and qualified in consulting management, there has always been an element of design and creativity within Andrew’s career.
Experiences include own foundry hand sand casting sculptures, 1990‘s female fashion brand and own graphic and print company.
2004 — Launched and successfully grew a contemporary hand embroidery company, developing art panels for luxury residences, yachts, and palaces.
2015 — International development of a sustainable natural materials surfaces brand as premium finishes, including as art for the cruise and hospitality industries.
2018 — Developed bespoke wall panel and art finishes in association with DKT Artworks, UK for premium residences and premium hospitality projects.
2020 — Launched own furniture designs for premium residential and hospitality projects.
2019-2023 — Development and launch of own curated abstract expressionism art portfolio
